Alpha 6
Now compatible with the changed Twitter archives from 2020 onward.
This release is also the first release with a Mac build - please try it and see how it goes.
Alpha 4
- Adds a workaround for handling very large archives. Unfortunately, this workaround makes media not load when the archive is too large, but at least it loads at all now.
Alpha 3
- Add AppX and portable builds for Windows.
- Display message when archive fails to load.
- Allow the archive to be zipped.
- Backwards compatibility with archives from 2018.
- Show date for first message in DM.
- Improved direct message rendering.
- Show media, stickers, and links in DMs.
- Allow drag & drop for opening an archive. Works with both folders and zips.
- Allow searching through DM conversations.
- Add a pop-up media viewer.
- Hide "log contents" debug tool in release builds.
- Show a rough timeline of tweet frequency per week.
- Replace default icon with a better one.
Alpha 2
Changelog
- Replaced some default "React App" strings with proper naming for the app.
- Try to infer the names of people who have DMed you if they've interacted with you in other ways (such as you RTing them or replying to them). (#14)
- Use account IDs for linking to people's profiles, instead of their screen name. This way, the links won't break when their username changes.
- Use proper blue color for links instead of them appearing the same color as surrounding text.
- Show whether one of your tweets is a reply to another tweet, and who you replied to.
- Separate "Tweets" and "Tweets & Replies" tabs. (#8)
- Handle animated GIF media attached to tweets.
- Show URL in lower left corner when hovering a link.
- Fix some text in tweets being stripped out. (#17)
- Automatically install updates when the app is started up. The updates will apply when the app exits.
