Describe The Bug

Clicking play on a live TV channel in the web UI instantly results in an error message. This problem stems from a regression introduced in #6112. All builds prior to this are working fine, while those released afterward are experiencing failures.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Go to livetv library
  2. Click on Channels
  3. Press play button on channel
  4. Playback Error There was an error processing the request. Please try again later.

Logs

There is no activity in the log.

System (please complete the following information):

  • Platform: Windows 11, Ubuntu 24.04
  • Browser: Firefox, Chrome
  • Jellyfin Version: Master
  • HDHR Tuner

I initially suspected that the linked PR on the server could be the problem, but I was able to rule that out.

I tested the linked PR related to this issue, and it successfully resolves it.
