Our current styles have fairly small points. Which is fine for normal maps. But I would like to be able to use our tiles for thumbnail like usages. The problem is that queries without much data disappear.

I've tried to add 2 new styles, both have larger dots that our current. One of them only serves black circles. The point of the latter is to use browser image filters to style them. That part is simply an experiment at this point.

The polygon maps with square buckets work OK already, and I think are a bit easier to control (no overlapping dots). Though maybe the circles look nicer.

that said I'm not sure the circles are ideal either. Perhaps they are now too big. I might fiddle a bit more with it locally

Thanks Matt
