What is this

This opens the Finder in a new window on the current desktop, even if the Finder is open on some other desktop. It is quite convenient.

Finderがどこかのデスクトップで開かれていても、現在のデスクトップに新しいウィンドウでFinderを開きます。結構便利です。

How To Install

If you want the .app file

• Go to the Releases page and download "OpenNewFinder.app".
• Please read the notes on the Releases page.

If you build it yourself

• < > Code tab -> Green Code button -> Download Zip to download the file.
• Open "OpenNewFinder.scpt" in a "Script Editor"
• Go to File -> Export, select Application.

It would be even more convenient to set a hotkey to "OpenNewFinder.app" in a launcher such as Alfred or Raycast.

.app ファイルが欲しい場合

自分でビルドする場合

• < > Codeタブ -> 緑色のCodeボタン -> Download Zip を押してファイルをDLして下さい。
• OpenNewFinder.scpt をスクリプトエディタで開き、ファイル -> 書き出す からアプリケーションを書き出して下さい。

Alfred や Raycast などのランチャーで、"OpenNewFinder.app" へのホットキーを設定するとさらに便利になると思います。
