Thank you for submitting an SDK feature request. Please provide as much information you can.

Describe the feature
Current driver requires sample channel format. Investigate expanding API to allow direct channel sample format.

Will this change any current APIs? How?
Updates should not change the current API

Who will benefit with this feature?
Anyone who uses channel sample audio format

Any Other info
This may include updates to the HIL library. At the very least an rtos level wrapper to implicitly handle the transpose would be sufficient.
