Getting the filenames of the files copied from the public folder

I am using service worker for my project. For some time I did not need code-splitting and the web app was working offline without extra configuration, but now I need to tell the service worker about my assets for it to handle it in background while the network is available.

Regarding the JS and CSS chunks, I use generateBundle to get the filenames.

But I have to do the same with files that are copied from public directory. Is there a way to add hash to static assets and to get their filenames?
