I have been using veracrypt for two years without issue. Now suddenly when booting my computer I am stuck in this endless password loop and cant get into my computer. I have a Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon Gen 10 (Model #21CB000FUS) Bios Version N3AET81W (1.46) RELEASE DATE 4/24/2024 using Windows 11. I am not sure which version of Vercrypt I am using but not have updated since it was installed. Since I have a Windows Machine my entire hard drive is encrypted and I also have several external hard drives encrypted. I do have the recovery USB that was created when I installed the software but when I using it it does not boot from the USB it just goes straight to the password page after my fingerprint verification. I have gone into the BIOS and changed it to boot from the USB first but it still is not pulling up a recovery page. Any help or advice would be much appreciated as my entire computer is basically a brick at the moment.

Expected behavior

After I use my fingerprint verification it goes to the password and pin like normal. After I enter the correct password and enter for pin it shows Authorizing, Success, Start 0 XXXXXXX Len XXXXXXX but then does not open Windows 11 like normal going back to password again.

Observed behavior

Same as above

Steps to reproduce

  1. When I go to use the USB recovery disk it does not boot from the USB even though I have gone into the BIOS and changed it to boot from USB first so I am not getting any screen to give me options to recover.

Hello, I just bought a Lenovo (2 weeks ago) and i tried using veracrypt to encrypt the whole thing and I too am getting the same message. Authorizing.... Success Start 0 numbers lens

I too tried to restart to factory but for some reason it doesnt work ... it just takes me to the same password. Also i tried to boot from my usb but also to no avail.

How should we proceed?
