Filter selected items when typing

I have a case where I need to select a few dozens of items. Problem is I don't have a way to quickly check whether an item has been selected since the selected items aren't filtered by the live search, unlike the original bootstrap select.
Would it be possible to have an option (or have it as default) to filter the already selected items while filling in the search field?
