Donation stuck in "Processing transaction..." loop because credit card expired

My credit card has expired but I am not able to update it because there's endlessly spinning spiral of "processing tansaction...". It's been a couple of weeks already and I'm worried that this spinning can starve Signal to death! See attached debug log. Cheers

Hi! You're right. I think we should probably be able to detect when a charge failure is terminal in these cases, but we should probably also give the user the option to cancel immediately somehow 🤔

I'll bring this up with the relevant people and see what the path to a solution is. Sorry for the inconvenience!
