buckets disappeared from workspace data explorer, and then re-appeared doubled

While showing a group how to use seqera platform, the buckets in our data explorer suddenly disappeared. I wish I had taken a screenshot, but there was a modal error that said something like "bucket doesn't exist ...".

I re-added the two buckets we were using, which worked to populate everyone's data explorer with the appropriate buckets again. But, after a moment, those two buckets spontaneously doubled:

None of the buckets that were originally in the data explorer, but hidden, re-appeared.

caveat -- I wanted the users to be able to preview files through seqera platform, so I had to make them maintainers, not launchers. It is possible that someone was monkeying with the buckets. They swore that they weren't, however. I believe them, I suppose.
