Search: show number of hits for the search term used

What's the problem this feature will solve?

Seeing how many hits there are for a term can give me information on how good a match is or whether I'm on the right or wrong track.

A straight up X total hits above the search result would do it

Ah no, I want the number of results as a user, on each search, in this view

Ah, OK. The API response doesn't return that number explicitly, but I suppose we can just calculate the length of the list of results retrieved. I'll move this issue to addons, since it's more a frontend issue than a backend one.
