Я одну только заметил и выше про неё написал уже: если перед началом слова стоит палочка, оно не обрабатывается как начало слова.
|Ерли должно превращаться в |Yerli, а превращается в |Erli. И в моём скрипте на medeniye.org так же.

Спасибо, буду знать. Посмотрю, может в регекспе подойдет заменить набор из символов пунктуации на небуквенные символы
