ERROR: Unknown plugin polyfractal/elasticsearch-inquisitor

I am Installing plugin elasticsearch-inquisitor in Elasticsearch on my Windows, but I am getting error.

[elasticsearch.version] is missing for plugin [elasticsearch-inquisitor]

and on Linux I am getting error

ERROR: Unknown plugin polyfractal/elasticsearch-inquisitor

Can anyone please tell me how can I install this plugin.

Sorry, this plugin is wildly, hopeless out of date. Elasticsearch no longer has "site plugins", so things like Inquisitor will no longer run.

I should add a note to the Readme this is no longer useful.

#46 actually has a change allowing to host it standalone instead of hosting it as a site plugin (and my fork also has a branch migrating to ES 7 by removing the type).
