Hi,
I had problem with Pi-Hole + Unbound on CentOS. It turned out that in the case of CentOS, the location for the pi-hole.conf file is /etc/unbound/conf.d/pi-hole.conf not /etc/unbound/unbound.conf.d/pi-hole.conf. I think you should add this to documentation :)
