Navigation Highlight Not Updating When Switching to Other Panel

Description:

When navigating to the “Friends” panel, the blue highlight in the side navigation bar remains on the “Map” option instead of updating to the “Friends” option. This inconsistency in the navigation state may cause user confusion about their current location in the app.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Open the app.
2. Select the “Friends” option from the side navigation bar to enter the “Friends” panel.
3. Open the side navigation bar again and observe the blue highlight state.

Actual Result:

The blue highlight remains on the “Map” option, even though the “Friends” panel is currently active.

Expected Result:

The blue highlight should switch to the “Friends” option to reflect the active navigation state.

Impact:
