This is how upstream names the binary. You'll need to open an issue with them and convince them to start distributing it under a different name. |

Description of issue
After installing TexStudio through the command
brew install texstudio', the
.appfile has the name
texstudio-4.8.0-osx-m1.app`.I had a MacBook Pro 2019 Intel where this issue didn't happen and the
.app
file was namedTexStudio.app
.Recently, I bought a M3 Pro, and after installing TexStudio, this unfriendly name was used instead.
I tried to rename the
.app
file manually, and it worked flawlessly until I had to update it throughbrew update
. In this case,brew
searches for the original file name, and as it doesn't find, it throws an error.Relevant casks
