Description of issue

I'm getting LoadErrors which prevent most useful brew commands from working. I thought about uninstalling and reinstalling Homebrew, but brew bundle dump won't work either. :(

rm -rf ~/Library/Caches/Homebrew/bootsnap might fix this. It would however to be useful to take a copy of it first as if that fixes it I'd be interested in seeing what the bad cache looks like and investigate trying to prevent this happening again.

Unfortunately, it does not. Neither does:

rm -rf /opt/homebrew/Library/Homebrew/vendor/bundle ~/.gem
brew vendor-install ruby
cd /opt/homebrew && git reset --hard origin/master

I did a mv instead of rm. The cache is 60M. How would you like to get it?

If it helps, I had a clone of Homebrew/brew to do some dev work and origin was set to my remote fork. I had to do git remote set-url origin https://github.com/Homebrew/brew.git to get back on track with upstream when using the brew commands. Then, your cache removal trick fixed the LoadErrors.
