Description of issue

When I run sleep watch using brew service functionality, it start as expected, but does not react to sleep/wake events. When I run it using terminal it works just fine (until I close terminal ofc.)

/usr/local/opt/sleepwatcher/sbin/sleepwatcher -V -s $HOME/.sleep -w $HOME/.wakeup&

I am also having this same problem. Sleepwatcher runs scripts as expected when running from the terminal, but does not work when run using brew services.

+1 - on Sequoia, sleepwatcher works running it by hand in a terminal but not in a service for me, on Sequoia.

I figured out the problem, it was in my script not finding a command after the upgrade. It would be helpful if there were some way for brew services to capture output and log it somewhere. I ended up putting some redirect statements in my script to do this, for example

exec >> "/tmp/.sleepwatcher-${USER}.out" 2>&1

Neat! Not familiar with the innards of Homebrew but I take it, just need to update the formulae to include the logging syntax.
