I think this is an issue with how ruby is installed. I was running into this previously when I was installing ruby-build/rbenv via apt on debian:bookworm to install ruby 2.6.10 and then trying to run homebrew. I wasn't able to get past it though, and went back to the installer from git, though also unsuccessfully 🥲 : https://github.com/orgs/Homebrew/discussions/3612#discussioncomment-6012213 |

Before I asked, it wasn't clear at all. I guess you're saying that the 2-3 people trying to help have got it working. I wouldn't call that "clear" but I guess it's a reasonable assumption. But now @W1llM0nt has made it very clear that it's doable, yay! But anyway, this is good enough for me to spend the time to try it myself, so thanks for replying 😄 |

Huh, maybe the error is just wrong, and it is not updating, because I am installing the latest version? 🤔 I just tried this to install figlet and although it also errors at the top, it seems to have worked anyway? 🤷 $ docker run -it --platform linux/arm64 jessebot/onboardme:dev

Ok, I finally got around to getting this done and making my own installation steps. GitHub Actions now supports arm64 Linux. Is it possible to create an arm64 release of portable-ruby to resolve this issue? |

It's not available for OSS projects yet: github/roadmap#970. Last word we heard from it was that the current target for OSS release was by the end of the year, but those dates are of course not confirmed yet.
