TeXShop installation structure

Hi,

one month ago I installed TeXShop 4.70 through brew, and it updated to version 4.72 yesterday.
I now see two TeXShop versions, both working. (E.g. in the "Get Info" menu of any tex file I can select either TeXShop 4.70 of 4.72 to open such file.)

Also, if I do brew info texshop I get

texshop: 4.72 (auto_updates)
https://pages.uoregon.edu/koch/texshop/
/opt/homebrew/Caskroom/texshop/4.70 (121B)

and under /Applications I see two TexShop apps:

• TeX/TeXShop.app (the 4.72 version)
• TeXShop.app (the 4.70 one)

Is there a reason for this duplication after update? Is there a way to cleanup the TeXShop installation (i.e. to automatically remove older versions) through brew?
