I use
zsh
on a Mac (as most of us do) and thezshall
man page is a frequent reference I must use. But I knew from the past thatzsh
hadinfo
and it wasn't in theinfo
directory when I did^H i
in Emacs. So, after about two hours or research and head scratching, it is drop dead easy to hook up. I thought I would share. The variable is
Info-additional-directory-list
. It does not exist until you startinfo
once. Then you can customize it with/opt/homebrew/share/info
. I'm not 100% sure but I think you need to quit and restart emacs to get it to take effect.Enjoy!
