Refer: ⌗20961

The OTC should formally decide about using new compilers with old releases and what our policy/guidelines are:

  • Is a new warning which will cause failures when -Werror is specified be considered a bug?
  • Can we add test cases that exist to exercise newer compilers in old releases?
