Background

There at least three different categories where the targeted laboratory terminology types fit.

1. Terminology that map to existing OBA trait terms.
   For example,
   Body weight skos:exactMatch OBA:VT0001259 body mass
2. Terminology that map to new OBA trait terms to be created.
   For example,
   Consistency of Stool
3. Terminology that are not in scope for OBA.
   • Information artefact codes
     For example,
     Observation interpretation,
     Referral lab test method
   • Features of abnormal or other phenotypes covered by HP
     For example,
     Bacteria identified in Blood by Culture skos:relatedMatch HP:0031864 Bacteremia
   • Other abnormal physiology, symptom, pathology related measurements
