Setting to disable confirmation on "Mark all as read"

Please add an option to disable a confirmation box when selecting "Mark all as read" on a feed or folder.

Use case: I usually read the headlines of the articles and open those that seem interesting. After that I want to just mark whats left as Read. Doing that for many feeds/folders the pop-up gets annoying fast.

Having an option for every button in the ui isn't optimal.

You can use mark read on "Unread artcicles" to mark all your left items read at once.
Also using mark read on scroll will mark all uninteresting articles read on the fly, you only need to scroll them out when at the end of a feed/folder.

1. Never said it should be in the UI in the News app itself. I'd be just as happy with a setting in /settings/user or even just in the config file.
2. In my use case, adding the confirmation box was a unnecessary UI/UX change that "Mark on scroll" wouldn't fix. I prefer scrolling through a bit faster scanning for special words to catch the important stuff, and only afterwards doing the detail check.

The problem is not showing it in the UI, but you need the complete logic to store the setting in the database and using it in the frontend, only to have this optional.

I agree with you that this change can disturbing when it is used often, I don't use it by myself and I have looked at news 24 where it was without confirmation.
The change came in the early vue rewrite #2354 with 99d8af8. So I have no problem to take this back.
