When installing the windows app (both from the msi and the exe installer), the unrecognized app blue warning screen appears (Microsoft Defender SmartScreen).
If you ignore it and install the app, the app itself is blocked by crowstrike AV.
I don't have control over crowdstrike since it was installed by my company.

Hey yeah so sadly the signing certificates for windows are quite expensive so we cant sign the windows builds.. I think Microsoft SmartScreen starts trusting the app after a certain number of installs but this resets when we release a new version.. But as you said it can just be ignored. As for crowdstrike, I don't know why they also block us but I don't think there is much we can do about it. Maybe you we can somehow upload the app for analysis or something.

submit the program as a false positive on https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wdsi/filesubmission

Done (queued, not yet scanned i guess), let's see if something changes.
