I have the same issue, also installed via snap --dangerous.
Dialogs using a font that is not installed?

Also: The app feels extremely slugging (my desktop has a Threadripper 3960X and 256GB ram, I have yet to find another app besides massCode that runs so sluggish.

ah, yes, I just found this after I posted a bug report on the same issue. Any fix coming?
