I've been having issues with importing large archives of comics. I had nearly 100GB on a 120GB iPad Mini, some folders with as many as 700 issues. I started noticing the cover art disappearing on every file, with the caption "cleaning", and a good 20 minutes leaving the app open for them to regenerate. Happened twice in one day.
Is there a hard limit to the amount of space that can be taken up by comics, or the number of comics in a single folder before it becomes unstable?

Ahh, a few other users have been reporting that. If the comics start showing "Cleaning", it means that iOS deleted their cache (which is usually just the cover art, and the ordering of the pages per comic) and the app is rebuilding it. I'm looking into it, but if it's a matter of memory pressure, I might have to rethink the entire system to make it more efficient.
I wiped the OS and reinstalled only iComics, and then imported folders one-by one, waiting for the program to import them before moving onto another. I haven't had this particular problem since, so it doesn't appear to be a file-number limitation. I think I was just overloading the available space before.
