🔖 Feature description

It would be really helpful to have an auto-categorization feature that can automatically categorize posts into types like Educational, Promotional, or Inspirational. This would help users balance the types of posts they are making and ensure they maintain variety in their content strategy.

🎤 Why is this feature needed ?

In my use case, I often create a mix of content (e.g., educational tips, promotional offers, and inspirational messages) across platforms. Having the ability to automatically categorize these posts would save time and help ensure that I'm posting a balanced variety of content. This would also provide better insights into the kinds of posts being shared over time.

✌️ How do you aim to achieve this?

I would love for Postiz to analyze the content of posts and suggest categories based on the type of messaging. Users could have the option to confirm or manually adjust the categorization if needed, ensuring flexibility.

🔄️ Additional Information

I’ve used manual tracking methods in the past to categorize content, but having this feature directly within Postiz would streamline the process and provide better content management.

@nevo-david yes, sort of like tags, and could start there. Eventually would be cool to have OpenAI or other LLM classify the posts itself.
