Project Purpose

This is a fork of the awesome project by Gabriel Falcão, sure.

The following improvements have been made:

• Support for recent Python versions (3.10, 3.11)
• Dropped support for Python 2, including the dependency on six
• Changed packaging format to setup.cfg ^*)

The functionality has remained the same.

Note that the main purpose of this repo is to support the test cases within Moto, so we are unlikely to add new features. If you find a bug, PR's are always welcome.

^*) This will ensure we will be able to keep installing the project via pip. Without setup.cfg, pip install sure throws the following warning:

DEPRECATION: sure is being installed using the legacy 'setup.py install' method, because it does not have a 'pyproject.toml' and the 'wheel' package is not installed. pip 23.1 will enforce this behaviour change. A possible replacement is to enable the '--use-pep517' option. Discussion can be found at pypa/pip#8559
