Parsing of spaces isn't working correctly

As mentioned here editorconfig-checker/editorconfig-checker#198 the parsing of spaces in editor config files isn't parsed correctly

If a change for parsing the braces is needed there then I should move the issue there?

@JohJohan if you think, the current interpretation is wrong; the best think is to have this uncovered behavior in the core tests.
