In this version I've fully focused on the New Fully Customisable System for the Headers.
There are independent per theme (Dark/Light) per header (H1-H6) customisation options for the Text, Underline, Background and Border. Also, options for Background and Text Alignment, Border Styles, etc of the Headers.

This feature was very complex to implement in full so if there are any issues with colours not working, certain options not working in certain modes in a certain theme, etc. make sure to let me know. Should be all good though 🤞

A full overview is available on the Wiki page dedicated to this feature:
https://github.com/damiankorcz/Prism-Theme/wiki/Headers

Speaking of Wiki pages, another large update is that the theme now has a full encompassing Wiki, which includes additional detailed descriptions with images/GIFs of all Style Settings Options for Prism.

A number of bug fixes and smaller adjustments have been made including: Compatibility for the new Live Preview modes, Styling Embedded Backlinks, etc.

If you use the theme and would like me to theme your favourite plugin that doesn't look right with the theme OR you want specific features for the Editor/Preview modes feel free to submit an Issue on Prism's GitHub Issue Page. Alternatively, @ me in the #appearance Text Channel on the Official Obsidian Discord Channel. Any other requests for the theme are also welcome. Will try to push more frequent and smaller updates going forward.

This is the first and long overdue (over a month since Obsidian October's original release, sorry😅) update to the theme. The main focus of this update was improving consistency around the whole theme; refining pretty much every element in the theme and resolving outstanding issues reported to the Github repo regarding the Core UI.

Now the main focus will be adding support for most used / requested plugins and features for the Editor/Preview modes (Experimental Live Preview will likely be covered upon public release).

P.S. If you are using or want to try the theme, please make sure you have the Style Settings Plugin installed because it is required for the theme to work correctly and includes a plethora of options for you to make the theme fit you just right!

Changelog

Features & Changes

  • Hover states!!! Oh the hover states... One of the most time taking changes in this update. Anything you can interact with should now give you some kind of feedback when you hover over it; be it change color of text or background.
  • The Titlebar and Status Bar now have options in the Style Settings allowing you to set the background to be full width. You can now change the Background Colour and Text/Icon Colour of both Titlebar and Status Bar independently. Note that when the Status Bar is at the top it will inherit colours and background style from the Titlebar.
  • Fully redesigned the Settings (including the Community Themes and Community Plugins modals) to match the theme better. The sidebar header in the Settings will now tell you the theme version you are on for easy reference.
  • Re-organised the Style Settings menu in the Settings for easier navigation.
  • Outline (Core Plugin) now has Vertical Lines (Relationship Lines)! Options available for it are in the Style Settings.
  • Added support for @pjeby 's Quick Explorer plugin. #7
  • Added an option for a Fully Transparent Background in the Kanban Plugin.
  • Added option to hide Navigation buttons. Available in the Style Settings under Titlebar #9
  • Added an Alignment option in the Style Settings for the Advanced Tables Plugin.
  • Countless tweaks to colours (most notably readability in the Light Theme), spacing and other unfinished areas around the whole UI.

Bug Fixes

  • Improvements to the readability of the Light Theme, especially of the accent colours #2
  • Fixed the lack of background for the Graph View's Local View in the Sidebar #3
  • Advanced Tables toolbar buttons are now clickable #8
  • Fixing the overlap for Navigation buttons when on MacOS + Adjustments to spacing of Titlebar and Status Bar elements #9
  • Checkbox is now vertically aligned in relation to the text next to it in Preview mode #10
  • Added an Accent Colour border to the Checkbox when hovered over #10
  • Reduced the darkness intensity for the Dark Accent Colour when using a Custom Accent Colour #12
  • Fixed the overlapping pin icon in the Command Pallete / Slash Commands #13

The main objective of this initial release is to cover the Core UI and Core Plugins in Obsidian. It's not perfect so expect some issues. Future releases will focus of polishing the existing code and resolving any outstanding issues with the current code before progressing with adding support for additional plugins and user customisable features.
