The problem I have with this guide is it's seemingly permanent. Ideally, you install and enter ON and OFF.

The problem I have with this guide is it's seemingly permanent. Ideally, you install and enter ON and OFF.

This issue was created by a friend as a joke however this guide ain't permanent as you can reverse all the changes made.

However I've made a tool called EnvyControl that uses Udev power management rules to turn off the dGPU (in a similar manner as current Windows versions do instead of doing ACPI calls), with EnvyControl you can quickly switch between graphics modes from your terminal.
