Can you clarify what you mean? We already support ScheduleV2:

Transform: AWS::Serverless-2016-10-31
Resources:
  MyFunction:
    Type: AWS::Serverless::Function
    Properties:
      Runtime: python3.8
      Handler: foo
      InlineCode: bar
      Events:
        Schedule:
          Type: ScheduleV2
          Properties:
            ScheduleExpression: rate(1 day)

Deploy:

sam deploy --region us-west-2 --resolve-s3 --capabilities CAPABILITY_IAM --stack-name test-2712 --template template.yaml

Which deploys correctly.

@BourgoisMickael - I've just been about to file a bug for this, but couldn't reproduce the problem, i.e. I've been able to publish an AWS::Serverless::Function with a Type: ScheduleV2 event, so this oversight has seemingly been addressed since 🙂
