Getting error when building skd on Ubuntu 20.04

So I tried to build sdk using official doc

But no matter what I do I still get the same error on 91% which looks like this

What else I tried:

1. My Openssl version is 1.1.1 and I also tried to use the openssl 3.0.8, but still got the same error. I tried to build aws once more in VB ubuntu 20.04 and everything worked find. I just can't make it work on my host machine and I don't understand why.

2. I found several discussions about this and they suggested adding some prefix paths and other methods. I tried to use them all, but still no result.

Can you make sure you have all of the correct dependencies installed. This Dockerfile has all of the dependencies needed to build this sdk. You can also build the docker container and see what differences there are between it and your local environment.

@jmklix It worked on docker and also on Virtual Box, but the problem is that all that does not work on my host machine. All dependencies are installed and I tried everything from the ground several times on my host machine, but it didn't work. I hoped if someone had the same issue, but I guess this problem is not common.

Can you try doing a diff of the cmake build folders between the docker (or virtual box) and your host machine? My guess is that the SDK might be finding a different/invalid libcrypto and trying to use that when building the sdk. If that is the case you will want to use -DCMAKE_PREFIX_PATH to point to the correct libcrypto that you want to use. Let me know if that is a the problem and I can help you to get it working.

crypto mismatch generally indicates that you are compiling with one libcrypto and then at runtime it finds a different libcrypto. your host machine probably has another libcrypto somewhere on LDPRELOAD path. You can do something like LD_DEBUG=all your_bin to figure out which libcrypto its trying to load (or strace as alternative)
