@github-actions proposed-answer Can you make sure you have all of the correct dependencies installed. This Dockerfile has all of the dependencies needed to build this sdk. You can also build the docker container and see what differences there are between it and your local environment. FROM ubuntu:20.04
#install deps
RUN apt-get update
RUN apt-get install -y git cmake zlib1g-dev libssl-dev libcurl4-openssl-dev build-essential
#clone and build sdk
RUN git clone --depth 1 --recurse-submodules https://github.com/aws/aws-sdk-cpp && \
cd aws-sdk-cpp && \
mkdir build && \
cd build && \
cmake -DAUTORUN_UNIT_TESTS=OFF -DBUILD_ONLY="s3" .. && \
cmake --build . && \
cmake --install . Please let me know if you have any other questions and/or problems with building this sdk |

So I tried to build sdk using official doc
https://docs.aws.amazon.com/sdk-for-cpp/v1/developer-guide/setup-linux.html
But no matter what I do I still get the same error on 91% which looks like this
What else I tried:
My
Openssl
version is1.1.1
and I also tried to use theopenssl 3.0.8
, but still got the same error. I tried to build aws once more in VB ubuntu 20.04 and everything worked find. I just can't make it work on my host machine and I don't understand why.I found several discussions about this and they suggested adding some prefix paths and other methods. I tried to use them all, but still no result.
