Newer Gdal & Python versions

Hi,
Loved this & actually tried on my AWS account. Works well.
Could you please help with a newer version of Python & GDAL?
I tried changing versions in the yaml file, but there are some libgdal.so errors

This repository is not under active development. Consider https://github.com/lambgeo/docker-lambda for a more recent implementation. ASF also maintains https://github.com/asfadmin/python-gdal-lambda-layer which adds the python bindings to the lambgeo/docker-lambda implementation.
