quicklook plugin not working with mac iOS

I'm not sure when it happened but the quicklook function doesn't work on my mac anymore. I saw someone post someplace else that its because of Mavericks. Any solution for this or a future fix?

Running qlmanage -r in the Terminal window to reload the QuickLook cache resolved this for me.

Hrmm, may have spoken too soon - it worked for a few minutes and then stopped again.

Most likely another QuickLook plug-in (one that views compressed archives) is conflicting with Simple Comic's own plug-in.

Run mdls on a cbr archive and paste the content here. To do this, open Terminal, type "mdls " (With the space), drag the archive to the terminal window, press enter. Also paste the output of qlmanage -m plugins from the Terminal.

I had the YacReader installed. When I removed it with CleanMyMac, the Simple Comic quicklook plugin started working right away - without any additional action from me required.

It did, I was having the same issue and deleting YACreader did the trick, thanks !
