Volunteering at the Conference

We need volunteers to help with the following:

• staff help desks / registration desks
• helping and directing attendees
• helping / demonstrating at workshops
• setting up and fixing AV problems in the parallel talks
• and whatever else may crop up!

We will pay the conference registration for volunteers, but unfortunately we cannot pay any travel or subsistence costs.

Volunteering will represent a significant commitment. For example, we will need five volunteers to help staff the five parallel workshop sessions. Workshop volunteers will act as helpers to the workshop presenters, e.g. providing support to help fix attendees technical problems during the workshops.

If you would like to volunteer, please fill in the below application form. The deadline to apply is 10pm, Friday 5th August. We will select successful volunteers and will let you know the outcome during the week of the 8th August.
