A model of a drosophila motoneuron is available on OSB in XPP (and other fomats): http://www.opensourcebrain.org/projects/drosophila-acc-l3-motoneuron-gunay-et-al-2014 The XPP version of this model can be converted to NeuroML2
This model: https://github.com/cengique/drosophila-aCC-L3-motoneuron-model/blob/master/xpp-models/isopotential.ode is a self contained XPP model with one compartment & 3 active conductances. Run in XPP (install xpp & type keys: i g w f) it produces:
The cell model can be converted to NeuroML. This model could be used as the basis for the cell & channels & running the simulation.
Read LEMS/NML2 paper.
Fork the project on GitHub.
Install XPP & test model locally
Update/add comments to the xpp code to gain understanding of behaviour
Create an initial LEMS file and cell & channel files based on the example above.
Adjust the parameters to match the behaviour of the XPP model.
Experience with compartmental modelling
