Hello,

I registered Azure with my school email, but this email is not a Microsoft account and does not have any games. I have another personal Microsoft account, in which I bought minecraft.

So my current Azure doesn't have the Minecraft API. Could you please tell me how to deal with this situation?

To resolve this issue and get access to the Minecraft API, follow these steps:

  1. Verify Your Microsoft Account:

    • First, ensure your personal Microsoft account (the one with Minecraft) is active and has the necessary access to the Minecraft API. You can check this by logging into [Minecraft's official website](https://www.minecraft.net) using your personal Microsoft account and confirming that your Minecraft purchase is linked to this account.
  2. Link Your Personal Microsoft Account to Azure:

    • If you want to access the Minecraft API from your Azure account, you need to link your personal Microsoft account (which has Minecraft) to your Azure account. Unfortunately, you cannot directly transfer Minecraft purchases from one Microsoft account to another, but you can associate your Minecraft-related Microsoft account with your Azure account for API access.
    • Go to the [Azure portal](https://portal.azure.com) and ensure you're logged in with the correct account.
    • To link your personal Microsoft account with Azure, use the Azure Active Directory section:
      • Navigate to Azure Active Directory in the Azure portal.
      • Click on Users, and then add a user with your personal Microsoft account email.
      • You may need admin permissions to add users or link accounts depending on the Azure setup.
  3. Use the Correct Azure Subscription:

    • You should ensure that the Azure subscription you're using has the required Minecraft-related resources or APIs enabled. Sometimes certain APIs are only available in specific subscriptions.
    • Verify your subscription under Subscriptions in the Azure portal and make sure the Minecraft-related services are enabled.
  4. Check Minecraft for Education API (if applicable):

    • If you're trying to access the Minecraft Education Edition API, make sure your school email is associated with the correct educational licenses.
    • You may need to contact your educational institution's IT support to link your Azure account to the proper licenses that include Minecraft Education Edition API access.
  5. Contact Microsoft Support:

    • If you continue to face difficulties, it's a good idea to reach out to Microsoft Support for assistance. Provide them with details of both accounts, and they should be able to guide you in transferring or linking your Minecraft access to your Azure account.

By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the issue and get access to the Minecraft API on your Azure account.
