Problems installing the environment (while installing GDAL)

Hi there,

I just tried to follow the instructions to get the environment setup to run this toolbox. However when running

python setup.py build

it fails while installing GDAL (I think):

ld: warning: directory not found for option '-L../../.libs'
error: Setup script exited with error: command 'clang' failed with exit status 1

Attached is the full terminal output. Any suggestions on how I could bypass python setup.py build and manually installing GDAL or any other alternative would be great.
