The annotation in the specification used to indicate "New!" vs "Aligned" classes and properties should be updated to be more specific, consistent, and correct.

  1. Remove the exclamation mark ("!") from those marked "New!"
  2. Update lists of Core Classes for annotation in the "Changes from DCAT-US 1.1" column:
    1. dcat:CatalogRecord is "New, aligned with DCAT" (not "Aligned") [there is no equivalent to this in DCAT-US 1.1 AND this class is used in DCAT 2.0.0]
    2. dcat:DataService is "New, aligned with DCAT" (not "Aligned") [there is no equivalent to this in DCAT-US 1.1 AND this class is used in DCAT 2.0.0]
    3. dcat:DatasetSeries is "New, aligned with DCAT" (not "Aligned") [there is no equivalent to this in DCAT-US 1.1 AND this class is used in DCAT 2.0.0]
  3. Update list of Supporting Classes for annotation in the "Changes from DCAT-US 1.1" column:
    1. AccessRestriction is "New, DCAT-US 3.0 specific class" (not "New!")
  4. Update list of class properties for annotations:
    1. 5.21 Identifier (adms:Identifier) is "New, aligned with DCAT" (not "DCAT-US 3.0 specific class") [there is no equivalent to this in DCAT-US 1.1 AND this class is used in DCAT-AP 2.1.1]
    2. 5.31 Role (dcat:Role) is "New, aligned with DCAT" (not "Aligned with DCAT") [there is no equivalent to this in DCAT-US 1.1 AND this class is defined in DCAT 2.0.0]
