Blank lines disappearing after saving

Describe the Bug

Blank lines disappear after saving a page. When re-editing and re-saving it the issue is gone. If you try to re-edit and re-saving it again the issue is there. Seems like back and forth.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create page with text or headlines (doesn't matter) and blank lines
2. Saving it
3. Re-editing it

Expected Behaviour

Expected behaviour should be for the blank lines to stay

Please can you take a screenshot of the blank lines you're adding in the editor, which you're expecting to remain?
Just to confirm which editor you're using, and the exact location/layout of such blank lines.

I've noticed the same thing, and I thought it was a feature, not a bug.

I don't know if it's the same problem as my friend, but I have something similar.

When using "Task list", you can see that I have the following page originally created:

I edit this page and create a blank space as below and save it:

When saving, you can see that the note is like this:

When editing again, you can see that the space doesn't exist, but it's kind of hidden.

When I save it again, and view the page, it looks like this:

Hi @HerbertSchulz4711, Please can you take a screenshot of the blank lines you're adding in the editor, which you're expecting to remain? Just to confirm which editor you're using, and the exact location/layout of such blank lines.

I've taken three screenshots and while taking these I think the issue only appears if there are images involved (not confirmed but guessing) as I could not reproduce the issue without images. I only tested this with headlines, not with plain text.

I've noticed the same thing, and I thought it was a feature, not a bug.

It can get confusing and illegible if empty lines do not work
